What’s included in our Party Package?

  • 90 minutes of play time in our fantastic soft play areas
  • 30 minutes in our party room where your party feast begins. Tuck into our delicious hot & cold buffet of sandwiches, pizzas, chips, crisps and an ice-cream pot with unlimited cordial juice/water. Just what you need to re-energise!
  • Dedicated party host to help you organise your celebrations in preparation for your party and on the day of your party. Your party host present your birthday cake in our extra special WonderWorld cake ceremony.
  • A party bag for each party guest – a lovely way to thank your guests for coming and a way to remember your special day.
  • A free pass for the birthday child to visit again and a birthday gift for the birthday child
  • A minimum of 10 participants must be booked, with a maximum of 25. Despite the small numbers, we’re still going big on birthdays!

You’ve booked your party! What happens next?

You will receive a confirmation email detailing your party booking.
Download your digital invitations here and invite all your guests! Feel free to send electronically or print out yourself.

Please ensure that you complete the birthday party form regarding dietary requirements & birthday child’s details. This is attached to your booking confirmation email. Please note if this form is not submitted 5 days prior of your party, we will be unable to accommodate any dietary requirements or food preferences.Your dedicated party host will finalise your details the week of your party by telephone. In the rare occurrence that you have not heard from your party host 48 hours before attending, please contact the venue directly [email protected]

Any additional party options e.g. slushees, party bags, sweetie cones or additional participants (maximum of 25 participants are permitted) must be confirmed no later than 5 days in advance of the event. These will be at an additional cost.
Please bring your own birthday cake and candles and we’ll organise the rest of your wonderful cake ceremony.

In the event where you wish to cancel or reschedule your event, please consult our Party Terms & Conditions for more information and notify WonderWorld as soon as possible. If you have any further questions about your party, please email [email protected]

It’s the day of the party! What happens now?

Please arrive no earlier than 10 minutes before your party starts, this means you’ll get to enjoy your full 90 minute play time in our soft play areas!

Head straight to the reception where you’ll meet your party host and you’ll receive a party wristband upon entry. A maximum of 10 adults will be allowed to enter the party room.

Unfortunately there is no disabled access in our Kirkcaldy with our party rooms are upstairs. We’re really sorry, however there is easy flat access throughout the ground floor.

And the most important part – have fun!

What happens after the party?

All participants must be collected from WonderWorld within 10 minutes of party finishing. This allows a seamless pick up and less congestion in the reception area.

What are your off-peak party prices and when are your off-peak party times?

Off-Peak times are Monday to Friday 4-6pm during school term time.
Peak times are Saturday to Sunday and school holidays.

Saturday & Sunday party times:
9:30 – 11:30am
11:45am – 1:45pm
2:00 – 4:00pm
4:15 – 6:15pm

How long is the party?

2 hours in total.

You will have 60 minutes in our fantastic softplay areas and then 30 minutes in your party room where your party feast will begin! This will then be followed by another 30 minutes in the softplay so you’ll have 90 minutes of play in total! In the last 30 minutes, our party hosts are then able organise party bags, thank your guests for coming and clear the room in time for the next party arriving.

How many adults can accompany the party?

A maximum of 10 adults will be permitted to accompany the party in the party room. Unfortunately, due to  capacity constraints, we can only allow 10 adults in the party room.

Where can adults stay and watch?

We will reserve a limited number of tables for the accompanying adults on the main floor but there are plenty of seating options available upstairs. Water and juice will be available here as well.

Can I bring babies to the party?

Under 1s may attend free of charge but we ask if you can limit this number to a maximum of 5.

Can I pay a deposit?

No, we are only accepting full payment of parties through our online checkout now.

What do I need to do before the party?

Please fill out our birthday party form which is attached to your booking confirmation email. Please submit this no less than 5 days in advance of your party. This includes the birthday child’s details, food preferences, dietary requirements and a list of party guests names. It is essential that you do so to ensure that we can accommodate to any requirements or preferences prior to your party.

Can I have a mascot visit my party?

Yes, these are available by adding them on at stage 2 of the checkout.

Can I add any extra party guests after booking?

Yes, please email [email protected] no later than 5 days before your party if you would like to organise extra party guests.

What should I do if I’m unsure of the total number of guests attending?

We would recommend you book the expected or minimum number of party guests that will be attending, then you can add on additional ones later with our events team once you have finalised your guest list. Please let us know as early as possible just so we can make sure we can accommodate for everyone attending, but please do so no later than 5 days before your party.
We cannot refund non-attending party guests on the day.

Can I add on party bags/sweet cones/adult buffets after booking?

Yes, please email [email protected] no later than 5 days before your party if you would like to organise these.
Adult buffets will be served out-with the party room as we can only have a maximum of 10 adults in the room.

Can I reschedule my party?

Please consult our Party Terms & Conditions for more information regarding reschedules and cancellations.

Can I book my party out-with these party session times? Do you do exclusive hire parties?

Please email [email protected] with your preferred timings and how many guests will be attending. We’ll hopefully be able to accommodate!

How do I order food and what is included in your hot & cold buffet? What happens if I have dietary requirements?

In our children’s birthday party package we offer delicious margherita pizzas, ham and cheese sandwiches, chips, crisps, vanilla and chocolate ice-cream pots and unlimited cordial juice and water. Just what you need to refresh and re-energise!
You will receive a birthday party form attached to your booking confirmation that will detail the available options and you can submit any allergies/dietary requirements here. Please submit this no later than 5 days before your party as this makes sure we can accommodate to everyone with plenty of notice.

Vegan, Gluten Free & Vegetarian Options:

We would be happy to offer vegan pizzas, vegan ‘chicken’ nuggets, chips, and vegan cheese sandwiches too alongside gluten free alternatives. We can also organise a healthier option of hummus and vegetable sticks too if you would prefer. If you have any other suggestions regarding food, please send [email protected] an email regarding this and we will be able to accommodate.

Can I bring my own food with me or extra snacks?

Unfortunately not. We host a full delicious hot & cold buffet feast so we’re sure you won’t go home hungry!

Where can I get invitations for my party?

Please download your invitations from our party bookings page on our website. You can edit these and send out electronically or print them out yourself!

Can I decorate the room beforehand or have a theme?

Unfortunately, no, but we have recently refurbished and redecorated all of our wonderful party rooms, so we have pulled out all the stops!
We are currently not running themed parties just now, but we hope to soon!

Can I bring helium balloons with me?

Helium balloons are only permitted in party rooms, but they must be brought into the venue in a bag and tied down with a secure weight. The balloons must be handed directly to your party host who will take these to your party room.

Do I bring my own cake and candles?

Yes, please provide your own cake and candles and we will organise the rest of your wonderful celebrations and cake ceremony. Please also ensure there are no special sparkler candles or fireworks. These set off our fire alarms and are hazardous with lots of children about.

Can I bring my own party bags?

We provide party bags with our party packages to thank your guests for coming but you can certainly bring another bag if you wish. We also have upgraded Out of this WonderWorld party bags that include rainbow fidget toys and your own drawstring bag if you want your bags to be extra special!

Does Kirkcaldy WonderWorld have disabled access?

Our ground floor has disabled access and has easy flat floors. Unfortunately our party rooms are upstairs and have no lift. We’re really sorry about this.
