We were thrilled to host the April Social Mummies Club social at Wonder World. Social Mummies is an amazing group that operates in Renfrewshire, they help new mums make friends and socialise with other mums in the area. Each month they hold a social, so everyone can get together somewhere their kids will enjoy and have a catch up while the wee ones play.
On the day we had a fantastic turn out from all the mums, and it was great to see all the wee ones having fun at Wonder World while mums had a well-deserved cup of tea and a natter. It’s not all about play and chit chat though, it’s long been recognised that having a strong support network is vital for mums (and dads) to help both them and their child. As they say, “it takes a village to raise a child”.
The social started at 11am and ended at 1pm with some of the mums staying longer to let their wee ones make the most of the soft play frames and really tire themselves out before going home.
With its large café, private party rooms and massive soft play frames Wonder World Glasgow is great for hosting events and get togethers. The kids (and some of the grown-ups!) get to enjoy the custom designed soft play, slides, go-karts, indoor football pitches (and more!) while the parents can have a tea or coffee and slice of cake. It’s a great day out, for regular meet-ups or one-off treats.
Social Mummies members who visited Wonder World had some great discounts available to them, they all received free entry to Glasgow’s most exciting soft play, as well as 10% off at out delicious café.
